【Activity Report】 Courtesy Visit to the Consulate-General of Japan in New York

Hello everyone! We’re NY de Volunteer!

On October 16, we visited the Consulate-General of Japan in New York and met with Ambassador and Consul-General Satoshi Takahira.

NY de Volunteer received the Foreign Minister’s Commendation (Consul-General’s Commendation) in 2014 in recognition of our efforts to promote community volunteer activities and foster connections with local communities through Japanese culture.

Although our meeting was initially scheduled for under 30 minutes, we were granted a full hour! During this time, we received invaluable advice regarding our

organization's operations.
